Project Description

The City of Blaine directed that a traffic study be conducted to determine the traffic impacts of a proposed apartment building and to evaluate traffic concerns in the surrounding neighborhood. The study includes analysis of vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the neighborhood to the south of 101^st Avenue NE and to the east of University Avenue NE. This includes analysis of traffic patterns at multiple key intersections in and around the neighborhood, driver speed behavior within the neighborhood, pedestrian facilities and level of comfort, and traffic operations both as they exist today and as they would perform with a future apartment building development on the northwest corner of the intersection of 99^th Avenue NE and 101^st Avenue NE.
