The Natural Resources Conservation Board is charged with developing a Natural Resource Plan, which will contain criteria for all future open space acquisition. The plan will also include Environmental Policy and Guidelines for the maintenance and preservation of Blaine's existing and future open space sand natural areas. The Board is an advisory committee to the City Council of Blaine, Minnesota. The Board makes recommendations for action concerning land acquisition and environmental policy to the City Council, which will make final decisions.
