Playground, Disc Golf Course, Dog Park Advisories

The City of Blaine is continuing to re-evaluate and make adjustments to our COVID-19 response plans. After consultation between city staff and the Blaine City Council the decision has been made to issue new guidelines for the use of playgrounds in city parks. Today the caution tape is being removed from city playgrounds and the new advisory signs are being posted. In addition to playgrounds, trails and open space remain open as they always have been. Courts and fields have also always been open for small family group use, this will continue as well. Please remember to practice social distancing and enjoy the parks with members of your household.

Playgrounds
- Playgrounds in City of Blaine parks are open.
- The playgrounds are not regularly cleaned or sanitized, use at your own risk.
- Social distancing guidelines must be followed when using the playgrounds.
- Keep at least six feet of space between individuals not from your household.
- Parents and guardians should ensure children wash and/or sanitize their hands after touching play structures.
- Do not use if you are feeling sick.

Disc Golf Course
- The City of Blaine disc golf course is open.
- The course is not cleaned or sanitized, use at your own risk.
- Do not share equipment between players.
- Social distancing guidelines must be followed when using the course.
- Keep at least six feet of space between individuals not from your household.
- Wash and/or sanitize hands after using the course.
- Do not play if you are feeling sick.

Dog Park
- The City of Blaine dog park is open.
- The shelter area is not cleaned or sanitized, use at your own risk.
- Social distancing guidelines must be followed when using the dog park.
- Keep at least six feet of space between individuals not from your household.
- Wash and/or sanitize hands after using the dog park.
- Do not use if you are feeling sick.
