Anoka County Press Release - 2018-04-24
On April 24, 2018 at 8:42pm, emergency personnel were dispatched to the intersection of University Ave and 85th Ave NE in the city of Blaine on a report of a Car vs. Pedestrian personal injury accident. Upon arrival, police located a male in the southbound lane of University Avenue with severe injuries. Life saving efforts were unsuccessful. The male was identified as a 51 year old from Minneapolis.

On Monday, March 26, 2018 at approximately 2059 hours, officers from the Blaine Police Department responded to a motor vehicle personal injury accident located at the intersection of 109th Ave. NE and Hwy 65 in the City of Blaine, involving a passenger car and an Allina Ambulance.
BlainePD Press Release - BHS
On February 22, 2018 at approximately 6:00 pm the Blaine Police Department received several reports of a threat referencing “bhs” students on multiple social media sites.
This threat does not reference Blaine High School.
The information received was a screen shot that appeared to be from Instagram. Blaine Police Detectives began to investigate this immediately. Their investigation revealed that the screen shot that was reported to us was taken from a news media story today in Belen, New Mexico. The information and screen shots that the Blaine Police Department received are identical to the one that was featured today in the KOB Channel 4 News Story from New Mexico.
At this time we do not believe there is any credible threat to students at Blaine High School.
Press Release - Blaine Investigation Update
On 12-10-17 at 1905 hrs, the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division and Crime Scene Unit was requested to an address in the City of Blaine in the 3200 Block of 91st Ave Curve NE. The address was the scene of a domestic assault call that resulted in an Officer Involved shooting, however no one had been hit by the gunfire.
