NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE BLAINE CITY COUNCIL ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM 99TH AVENUE AND 101ST AVENUE REHABILITATION, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 21-08 TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Blaine, Minnesota, will meet on Monday, February 1, 2021, at 7:30PM in the Council Chambers at the City Hall, 10801 Town Square Drive NE to consider the making of the following improvement: 2.5-inch mill/overlay, including a chip seal on the milled surface, upgrades to the existing signal system at the 99th Avenue/Clover Leaf Parkway intersection and repairs to the existing sidewalk, traffic control signage, and appurtenant construction The properties to be assessed pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429, for such improvement, are within the following described area: • 99th Avenue from 101st Avenue to Trunk Highway 65 • 101st Avenue from 99th Avenue to University Avenue The total estimated project cost of the proposed improvements is $1,801,845. A reasonable estimate of the proposed assessments will be available at the public hearing. As a part of the city's response to the COVID-19 pandemic all city meetings will be held as virtual meetings until further notice. There are multiple ways for the public to still participate in the meetings before and during the actual meeting. Public comment during the meeting will be done through the Zoom platform.
