BEFORE THE BLAINE CITY COUNCIL
ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA
PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
2021 STREET RECONSTRUCTIONS
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 21-06
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Blaine, Minnesota, will meet on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at 7:30PM in the Council Chambers at the City Hall, 10801 Town Square Drive NE to consider the making of the following improvement:
Bituminous pavement replacement with spot concrete curb and gutter repair/replacement, storm sewer drainage improvements, sanitary sewer improvements, traffic control signage, and appurtenant construction
The properties to be assessed pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429, for such improvement, are within the following described area:
• Club West Parkway NE from 109th Avenue NE to Cloud Drive NE
• 93rd Lane Extension from to approximately 350-feet east of Anoka County-
Blaine Airport Gate A to 85th Avenue NE
• 100th Court NE from Flanders Court NE to cul-de-sac
• Flanders Court NE from Radisson Road NE to 100th Court NE
• 105th Lane NE from National Street NE to Sunset Avenue
The total estimated project cost of the proposed improvements is $5,519,260. A reasonable estimate of the proposed assessments will be available at the public hearing.
City public meetings will be held in the city council chambers at Blaine City Hall. These meetings will be a hybrid of Zoom meetings and in-person meetings. Members of the council, boards, commissions, and the public who wish to attend remotely can join the meetings via Zoom.
If you will not be attending the meeting in-person, city staff has developed a public comment process for prior to the meeting. A public comment email address, PublicComment@BlaineMN.gov, and phone number, 763-717-2782, allow individuals to submit comments prior to a meeting. Those comment boxes are available until noon on the day of the meeting. The comments will be compiled and delivered to the Blaine City Council or the appropriate commission or advisory board.
