Please Don't Rake Leaves into the Street

Raking Leaves

Many of our residents live in fully wooded areas. As the leaves from the trees turn color and fall, they provide both a beautiful show and plenty of cleanup effort. Please keep in mind that all decaying plant material that ends up in the City’s ponds and streams contributes to greater phosphorous load and poorer water quality. Please do not rake leaves into the street. Your cooperation is requested.

You may bring your leaves and grass to the Anoka County Compost Sites.
