Educator Open House Rescheduled

Blaine Wetland Sanctuary - Explore With Us

All educators are invited to attend a free open house at the Blaine Wetland Sanctuary on Monday, September 10 or Thursday, September 20 October 11 from 3-5 pm.  The Blaine Wetland Sanctuary consists of 500 acres of open space with a variety of habitats, making it a living laboratory for researchers, teachers, and students.

  • Explore the eSTEM curriculum lessons
  • Get your questions about the fen answered
  • Network with other teachers
  • Hike the mile-long boardwalk
  • Preview engineering design challenges for students
  • Learn the scientists’ stories who are conducting research at the fen
  • Preview the maps, signage, and phenology connections
  • Sign up for field trips for the 2018-19 school year
