On December 21, 2020 the Blaine City Council approved the 2021 property tax levy and general fund budget. The approved levy was $200,000 less than the preliminary levy that was approved in September. This levy will drop the Blaine tax rate for 2021 by one percent while maintaining current service levels. Blaine continues to have the lowest tax rate of any full service city in Anoka County.
