PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Planning Commission of the City of Blaine, Minnesota, will hold a public hearing on the following application:

CASE: 22-0048

APPLICANT: Blaine Apartments (VRBB Development)

LOCATION: 111 99th Avenue NE (see map)

Legal description on file at city hall.

PETITION: The applicant is requesting the following:

  1. Rezoning from R-1 (Single Family), R-3B (Medium Density Multifamily), and R-3C (High Density Multifamily) to DF (Development Flex).
  2. Preliminary plat to create one lot and one outlot to be known as Green Acres 2nd Addition.
  3. Conditional use permit to construct a 111-unit apartment building in a DF (Development Flex) zoning district. The proposed building is four stories including three stories of apartments over one story of parking.

HEARING DATE AND TIME: Said hearing will take place at Blaine City Hall Council Chambers, located at 10801 Town Square Drive, 2nd Floor, Blaine, Minnesota, 55449 on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at 7PM.

All interested persons are invited to attend and be heard. If you cannot attend, public comments that are emailed to [email protected] by 4:30PM on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, will be shared with the Planning Commission at this meeting. Unsigned or anonymous comments will not be included in the public record. The agenda will be available at BlaineMN.gov/Agendas three days prior to the meeting.
