PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Planning Commission of the City of Blaine, Minnesota, will hold a public hearing on the following application:

Case: 22-0074

Applicant: Allen Hambleton

Location: 2247 125th Avenue NE (see map)

Petition: The applicant is requesting a variance to Section 18-424 of the City Code of Ordinances that requires a barrier/fence around a pool. The applicant proposes a locked pool cover in place of a fence.

Hearing Date and Time: Said hearing will take place at Blaine City Hall Council Chambers, located at 10801 Town Square Drive, 2nd Floor, Blaine, Minnesota, 55449 on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 7PM.

Review Process: A public hearing is being held before the Planning Commission to accept public comments on the proposed application. The Planning Commission is an advisory body to the City Council and will make a recommendation on the application. The City Council will have final consideration of the application at a subsequent meeting.

Written comments must be received no later than Monday, December 12, 2022 to be shared with the Planning Commission. Unsigned or anonymous comments will not be accepted.
