PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Planning Commission of the City of Blaine, Minnesota, will hold a public hearing on the following application:
Case: 22-0079
Applicant: Blaine Event Venue
Location: 1250 126th Avenue NE, #400 (see map)
Legal description on file at city hall.
Petition: The applicant is requesting approval of a conditional use permit to operate an approximately 3,000 square foot event center in a B-2 (Community Commercial) zoning district. Events would include baby showers, church services, small weddings, celebrations of life, and other similar events.
Hearing Date and Time: Said hearing will take place at Blaine City Hall Council Chambers, located at 10801 Town Square Drive, 2nd Floor, Blaine, Minnesota, 55449 on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 7PM.
Review Process: A public hearing is being held before the Planning Commission to accept public comments on the proposed application. The Planning Commission is an advisory body to the City Council and will make a recommendation on the application. The City Council will have final consideration of the application at a subsequent meeting.

Written comments must be received no later than Monday, December 12, 2022 to be shared with the Planning Commission. Unsigned or anonymous comments will not be accepted.
