Anoka County Announces New Grant Program
In February, Anoka County announced a pre-development grant to assist cities with getting sites across the county shovel ready for development by completing projects such as, wetland delineations, geotechnical soil analysis, and more. Grants of up to $15,000 are available and a maximum of two sites per city will be considered in the first round of funding. The deadline to apply is May 4. Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) Contaminated Site Grant
The Brownfields and Redevelopment Unit is accepting applications for grant funding for contaminated site projects through the Contamination Cleanup and Investigation and RAP Development grant program. The deadline for application submissions is Monday, May 1 at 4PM.

Find and Pay for STEM Interns with Free Funding
Your small company can build its future workforce, source great talent and access a wage match to cover 50 percent of a college STEM intern’s wages through the SciTech Internship Program.
Employers receive a wage match of 50 percent of the intern’s wages, worth up to $2,500. SciTech is free for students and small employers. At least 200 wage matches are available on a first come, first hire basis. Industries include tech, biotech, engineering, manufacturing, energy, aerospace, ag, and more!
