Fake Sporting Event Tickets

I recently learned of two Craig’s List scams where both parties purchased tickets and met the seller in a public place to exchange cash for the tickets.
At the ticket gate of the sporting event, the victim was informed the tickets were fake.  Here are some tips from Craig’s list on how to avoid this very thing
https://www.craigslist.org/about/scams .  In the search engine of Craig’s List, I typed in “fake tickets” and found some interesting results. If the ticket price is lower than issue price, buyer beware.

Thefts From Auto Alert

The Northtown neighborhood area experienced an increase of theft from autos between January 8 overnight to the morning hours of January 9.
For those who live in that area, please spread the word to your neighbors to lock their vehicles and to remove anything of value from it.

Package theft reports are still coming in.  If you see recently discarded and opened packages (with a Blaine address on it) in your area, please let us know so we can check to see if the package was reported stolen.

Drive safe and put the cell phone down.  It can wait.
