False Alarms

If your business has an alarm system, when was the last time it was checked for effectiveness and faulty sensors?
The City ordinance for false alarms is this; three false alarms are allowed in a calendar year.  After three false alarms, you will be invoiced for excess false alarms.  Over ninety 99 percent of all alarms dispatched are FALSE.  Does the monitoring station has current key holder contact information?  If just one zone is activated, it's most likely a false alarm and not something we need to respond to.

Hold up alarms; one free false hold up alarm is allowed per calendar year.  Any subsequent false hold up alarms will be invoiced. The second false hold up alarm is one hundred dollars and any alarms after that increase by one hundred dollars.
