Burglary and Theft Alert

Blaine is  experiencing an increase of thefts and burglaries from businesses in Blaine. Suspects climb fences, steal trailers and more.

If possible, remove valuable property from company owned vehicles that are parked outside. If that's not feasible, record and document everything inside, like tools, equipment, etc.  Photograph and record model numbers, serial numbers, etc. and keep that information in a safe, easily accessible place.

Is there an alarm system on premises?

Be sure the monitoring station has current, up to date key holder contact information on file in the event an alarm is tripped at the business.

If there is an external camera system, check to be sure it's pointed in the correct direction and video is readily accessible in case a burglary or theft occurs.

If you discover the business has been burglarized, do not touch anything, back out and call 9-1-1.

If there was a theft from vehicles, again, do not touch anything and report it by calling 763-427-1212.
