Blaine BizConnect Special Edition: COVID-19 Resources
These are tough times for our business community. Some businesses are continuing to serve Blaine residents by providing essential goods and services while others are serving the greater good of the community by keeping their doors closed to help slow the spread and flatten the curve.
A healthy and vibrant business community will always be important to the City of Blaine and city staff are ready to help connect businesses to resources such as loan programs or tax credit information.
For example, did you know that small and midsize employers will benefit from two new refundable payroll tax credits from the Department of Labor, designed to immediately and fully reimburse them for the cost of providing Coronavirus related family and medical leave and sick leave to their employees.
The city has developed a webpage full of COVID-19 resources. Business specific resources can be found at BlaineMN.gov/COVID19Business.
The city will continue to add more resources to this page over the coming weeks so remember to check back frequently.
This week staff worked with area restaurants to compile a list of current offerings from Blaine restaurants. Please share this list with your networks as a way to support local restaurants.
