IRS Phone Scam

Officers have receive several reports of the IRS scam phone call.  Please spread the word that these phone calls are fake and they IRS will never call and ask you to purchase iTunes gift cards or any other card.  Nor will they come and arrest you or trace your call.

Can You Identify These Two People?

On 3/7/18 an 89 year old Blaine Resident was approached by 2 females in the Cub Foods parking lot off of 125/Central Ave. The 2 females claimed that they had found a wallet containing a large amount of cash. They offered to split the cash however needed the elderly female to pay the legal fees up front. In the end, the elderly female was scammed out of $8,000. Our detectives are eager to speak to these two females. Please contact Detective Christensen at 763-717-2665 if you have any information
