Clover Leaf Parkway and 93rd Lane Reconstruction

93rd Lane

  • Pavement markings will be placed in mid-October.

Clover Leaf Parkway

  • New curb and gutter and driveway aprons have been installed. The remaining driveway aprons and valley gutters were installed October 3.
  • Valley gutters were fully open to traffic on October 7.  
  • Spot repair for the sidewalk throughout the project area and curb installation on Lincoln Street was completed October 9-10.
  • Final grading prior to bituminous base course was completed October 7-11.
  • The first lift of bituminous base from Polk Street to Ulysses Street will be completed the week of October 14. This work is weather dependent and the dates could change.
  • Final restoration and bituminous wear course is scheduled for later in October.

Clover Leaf Parkway Closure from Highway 65 to Ulysses Street

  • A road closure will be in place October 21 - November 4 between Ulysses Street and Highway 65 to complete the remaining curb and gutter, and bituminous in this area.
  • This road closure is tentatively scheduled to be for two weeks. Please note this schedule is weather dependent and subject to change.
  • Detour signage will be in place to direct motorists around the closed section.

Anoka County Projects

The Anoka County Highway Department also has road projects impacting the City of Blaine. To learn more about those projects read the Anoka County Construction Weekly.

MnDOT Projects

MnDot is also working in the area this year. Most notably is the 35W MnPASS project. The MnDOT Highway 65 corridor study is currently seeking feedback on potential future intersection designs. Online survey.
